Aidan, Cynn and Devona were never big parts of the game. Sure they were in Pre-Searing (as was Gwen) but other than that they weren't really around ever.

Sure they popped up in the odd quest every once and a while but thats really it. They are the only people who have been in all of the games. Along with Eve who seems to have been forgotten as well.

If Prophecies was remade and released again in the same style that NF and EoTN is with Heroes, they would defiantly be heroes.

As for Gwen ageing a lot in two years. Thats wrong. If you follow the time line, Pre Searing -> Post searing is two years. From there you go off all over Tryia and from there to Cantha and then once you've finished in Cantha off to Elona. Then it's back to Tyria. So it has been quiet a bit more than 2 years.

In the BMP they tried to make her a bit younger than she is in EoTN, so that she would appear to be slightly older than she was in Pre-Searing.

As for the focus being on Gwen, it always has been. Just look at how the BETA test ended with her, and Sarah in the underworld being her mother asking you every time you enter if you've seen her.

It always bugs me how Eve just sort of appears as a henchman in the Shiverpeaks without ever being seen with Mhenlo and co. before this. And yet she's with them when you first go to Cantha...

Gwen is also the 'Guild Wars Iconic Character' in Japan.

She is the mascot of the site, and was depicted as all professions.

On a side note take Gwen the hero down to UW and check it out.

I don't know why Gwen is so important, as far as I can tell she's just some slutty emo who the majority of jackasses seem to adore.

For the last time, Eye of the North is EotN. I don't see a "G" and a "W" in Eye of the North, do you?

Reminds me of the Morrowind command 'setscale #'. Alters the scale of the selected object to the desired size. Probably they were doing something similar to that.

I would love Oink as a hero, he's invulnerable to damage.

Does this mean Gwen will be a goddess in GW2? The evilness has plagued my mind...

You don't have to if you don't want to. But that is the title and that is what it is refered too. But really it doesn't matter.

You do when you add the full title to the game.

Guild Wars: Eye of the North
